Organised Genocide Approaching South India: The Fear of Modi Administration's Onslaught on Southern States

Hello World,

There is a dangerous political trend sabotaging our country as we speak. Whatever is happening under the leadership of Modi is carefully destroying India. If you care to look into the why/how parts of the fact, please read on.

I belong to those regions where the PM has deliberately decided to ignore people' welfare just because his party can never win an election here. We in this part [South India] are desperately waiting for this government to leave so anything else can deliver a safe environment for us. We are not in a position to choose a specific group based on any political orientation. We consider anything instead of the current administration. Such is the state of our desperation.

It is incredibly disheartening to see carefully misled interpretations enabling the glorification of what might be the most tyrannical rule ever in the history of India. We will face the heat from this for the next few decades.

For example, please refer to the document in the URL below and search for 'forest cover':

It will take you to page-3 where in the table you will see that 'Forest Cover' is being given 7.5% weightage in the formula that decides ow much federal money a state would get. Just so I make it clear, the government has decided, the state with more forest cover will get more money. However, the government has asked the states to remove forests to help establish federal projects and guess what, it is the southern states who had to remove forest cover to support government programs.

Have you ever seen any administration decide fund allocation to states based on forest cover? Do you really think, in a developing nation such as India, where people are struggling for 2 square meals a day, such forest-cover based fund allocation will do any good?

Here is the fun trivia. try googling 'Top Indian states with forest cover' and you will see the states where the Indian PM's political party has/had the state government.

So, someone who holds the federal government decided the states where his party leads will get more money and they tweaked the formula accordingly. The leader of such a federal government is being praised. It can't get more cruel.

On behalf of all of south India, I beg you to stop enabling the organized genocide we South Indians are living with the fear of under the current government.

Please forgive me if my words hurt your feelings or insulted you or your interests in anyway. This blog post is probably one of the last resort efforts from taxpayers of a country who do not have any more hope of equal coexistence under Modi's leadership.

I would like to create an opportunity for you get your own perspective, not necessarily being guided by my views. Please read the following news items below from popular, fairly credible news media.

If you read the news in sequence, you will see something odd jumping out. I will let you interpret this further:

Questions, as a taxpayer, I have are:

When a country takes a loan from another, the entire populations has to repay the loan (with interest) using their tax contribution.

1. When everyone has to repay the loan, why is the loan being spent on a river that touches just 5 out of 29 states? Why should a government take a loan on India's name when all the Indians do not get an equal share of the benefit of the expenditure that uses the loan? [try looking up which states and you will see a all-north trend]

The country is reeling in poverty and unemployment and struggling to have enough infrastructure and employment.

2. Why should the taxpayer's money be spent on an expensive statue? [The statue is built in the state where Modi served as Chief Minister]

The government under Modi had the capacity to take a loan and clean a river that touches just 5 out of 29 states. The government had spent several thousands of crores on the Ganga Rejuvenation project so far.

The government had the capacity to allocate 3000 crores for a statue.

However, the government did not have the funds for supporting the relief measures for two flood hit states. Guess what, both of them are southern states.
The states requested immediate relief measuring in thousands of crores and they got in hundreds.

3. What crime did the south do against Modi and his government that his government prioritized river clean-up and statue over rescue and rehabilitation of its own citizens?

A statue can get 3000 crores but a state stuck in floods begged for 1220 crore and it was given 100 crores initially and then another 500 crores.

The government under Modi spent over 4000 crores in advertisement in 4 years.

The government has the money to support Bhutan.

Nobody is against offering help to neighbors in need. However, how come a government has funds for a foreign country but not for its own tax paying citizens when they are hit by natural disasters [flood/cyclone]?

There is much more to this and every piece of information just confirms the deliberate effort to ignore the south.

Imagine you live in South India and you see all this happening.

Can 'tolerating unfair treatment of citizens in governance' amount for anything positive? Is this leadership?

We in the south are living in a state of fear as to what else is ready to descend upon the south as we are having the election this coming May.

Please do not agree with me. Please look up those news items. Think how you would feel if you were at the receiving end of such organized unfair treatment. You decide what we in the south are going through.

I may be alive but I do know many of my fellow citizens in the south have lost their lives to poverty, natural disaster and unfair educational policies and all Modi did was watch.

Indian citizens in South India are suffering and Modi and his majority voters all over the country are watching.

I see this trend as nothin less than a carefully organised, legal-looking, genocide against South India under the leadership of Modi.

If you have read this post until here, it means you received more feedback than Modi did in all the 4+ years since 2014.

South India needs to recognise the genocide being executed against it under Modi's leadership.

While South India has not much left in terms of hope, the only thought possible right now is:

Hopefully the Indian citizens in North/East/West India got something positive. If we are losing losing much, there must be someone out there who must have gained from our loss. If not, then the whole nation is approaching an abrupt end under Modi's leadership.

Again, do not believe or agree with me. Think about it. There should be some sense, rational thought, logic and humanity left around in India in spite of the tyrannical Modi Administration.

This is a time of organised destruction, at least for South India and there is not much South India can do. Hoping South India escapes the genocide waiting to happen under Modi's leadership.

Given that you had the patience to scroll to this end of this post, I would invite you to watch the comedy/satire show in Tamil language run by Summa Productions on Youtube. This show covers the other aspects of the argument presented above. Please share this post if you think this will help anyone in any way.

ECONOMIC WAR ON THOSE WHO CRITICIZE: THE 'CASHEW-AL' WAY

Hello World,

While I am preparing my next vomit on Arthashastra, I went through the 2018 Budget documents and I have an observation to share with you. Let’s get started.

We will begin with an exhibit:

The 2018-Budget proposes to reduce the customs duty for the import of cashew nuts by 50%. What used to be 5% is going to become 2.5%. Cashew is high value crop and 50% slash is a significant gain and this is expected to make the import of cashew from international markets into our country much cheaper than what it used to be.

Usually, when two countries agree to help each other economically, they ease the selling of each others’ products and services in their respective territories. Also, when the nation needs a raw material for a specific product which also has to be affordable to the citizens, the administration usually relaxes the import duties and enables the market players to take advantage of the margins.

In an effort to understand the story behind I googled to find who the top producers of cashew nuts are.

Fun fact: We are one of the top-3 producers!

Here’s a set of screenshots to indicate that:

I started wondering why cashew imports need to be relaxed in a country which is already in the top-3 producers list. The reasons are simple:

If cashew imports are relaxed:

  1. The local producers will have to face international competition and might not necessarily win the price war.
  2. The local farming economy will face the brunt given that they are already producing the some of the major quantities, globally.

I wanted to know how big the local cashew farming economy existed and I landed at this:

So, 5 out of 7 states in the Top-6 Cashew Producers List are Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Tamilnadu, Kerala and Karnataka. The others marked as top producers are West Bengal, Jharkand and Maharashtra.

If I look closely, most of these states have political rhetoric strongly criticising the current central administration and the political party that is running it. In essence, what I see is an economic war being waged against states who are not willing to collaborate with the political party running the central administration right now.

I might be wrong but here’s my set of questions:

Why is that cashew is the only agri-produce whose import duty is slashed by 50%?

How come the crop which comes from select states with a similar political rhetoric can be imported for cheap?

Is this an economic war against the farmers of the regions where political ideologies don’t necessarily match with that of the current central administration?
While I pondered this, scrolling through the budget document, I came across this:

National program from the central budget aiming at air pollution is something that needs to be lauded with a open heart. Such programs make the place a bit better for future generations. In this case the program directly aims at reducing the loss to the agricultural-economy as a result of air pollution.

However, why do such ambitious programs exclusively cover select states from the country?

This to me means that, the air-pollution-driven death and health hazards faced by citizens from the other states of this country is perfectly ok.

The priority is just those states which face the MOST POLLUTION. You see, pollution is not bad. MOST POLLUTION is alone bad. Only those who face MOST POLLUTION are superior humans and deserving citizens for a centre-driven program. This is how the best brains work in this country as of now and I cannot imagine of an award that I can recommend the brains who voted these neuro-superior-homo-sapiens who are deeply passionate about protecting just those superior humans who face the MOST POLLUTION in this country.

For some reason, the states who stand to face the economic brunt of cashew imports do not match or even come close to the states included in the air pollution program.

So some states can have cleaner air and no competition from foreign agri products while others can breathe more monoxides and eat unsold cashews until death.

The reality might be something very different from the grim picture I paint here.

The questions are:

Is it, really?

At What point do we admit the fact as a fact?

Best regards,
